Savannah, Georgia means a lot to us for many reasons; the history, cuisine and of course my husband’s family living there is a blessing. We try to make it down as much as possible but St. Patrick’s Week is a no brainer! The St. Patrick’s celebration in Savannah is such a huge deal to the city. It’s actually the second largest celebration in the US, second to New York City. It’s a great vacation for friends or families with little ones. Between the liveliness on River Street, live music at City Market and the parade, it’s non stop entertainment.
The closer I get to 30, the more I care about my daily skin care routine. Not to mention, my skin gets uncomfortably dry when I don’t take care of it properly. What’s better than waking up with healthy and glowing skin?
I use all three Bare Mineral products daily. I find they are not oily on my skin at all and absorb immediately. The eye cream is especially great. I also use theBalm’s toner every night. It has been a game changer! I’m currently falling in love with Mario Badescu – their no frills and adorable line is nothing but fantastic. I use the Strawberry Face Scrub every other day and theBalms’s Almond Microdermabrasion Face Exfoliating Scrub with my Clarisonic Mia 2x a week. The directions say “use once a week” so I guess I’m living on the edge!
I’ve yet to find a face sunscreen I love so I’ve been using Alba Botanica kids sunblock on my face (any everywhere else needed) since last summer and enjoy it! I’ve noticed I use a lot more sunscreen on the weekends when I know I’ll be out and about for longer periods of time.
A girlfriend from Nashville and I made the short 3.5 hour drive from San Francisco to Tahoe last weekend. Lots of laughs, cocktails and skiing followed. Neither of us had skied out west before so we decided to ski Squaw Valley after chatting with a friend that lives in Incline Village and has a season pass at Squaw. It was remarkable! I stayed on the greens and blues as I was a bit rusty. Okay maybe a lot rusty.
Sunday morning we drove to South Lake Tahoe to explore a bit more and the drive along the lake was breathtaking. I loved the slow pace/small town feel of the area and cannot wait to go back in the summer for more outdoor fun. See you soon jet skis, hiking and paddle boards!
I’m Samantha! I’m a 20 something who recently packed up my amazing 10 years in Nashville, TN and moved to the West Coast. San Francisco was calling my name! My husband and I have tech and business backgrounds, respectively, and are falling in love with the city more and more each day.
